22. Warranty Terms and Conditions

Bidet Buddy warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase (“Warranty Period”). This Limited Warranty is extended solely to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

During the Warranty Period, Bidet Buddy will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace a defective spray unit subject to the terms and limitations set forth herein. Coverage is limited strictly to defects arising from normal intended use.

Exclusions

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, or improper storage

  • Use inconsistent with any instructions or guidance provided in official Bidet Buddy materials (manuals, guides, inserts, packaging, customer support emails, chat, or phone communication)

  • Environmental conditions such as excessive hard water, sediment, debris, or other contaminants

  • Failure to perform routine care and maintenance as communicated in official Bidet Buddy materials (manuals, guides, inserts, packaging, customer support emails, chat, or phone communication)

  • Cosmetic deterioration (scratches, dents, discoloration, or non-functional changes)

  • Modifications, alterations, or use with third-party accessories not approved by Bidet Buddy

Replacement Limitations

  • A maximum of two (2) replacement spray units are permitted within the Warranty Period.

  • Replacements are provided on a like-for-like basis or with a functionally equivalent model if unavailable.

  • Accessories (bottles, charging cables, pouches, adapters) are not covered under this Limited Warranty.

Inspection and Return Requirement

  • For a second warranty replacement, Bidet Buddy may require return of the existing unit for inspection before authorizing replacement.

  • Inspection will determine if the defect is due to manufacturing fault or improper use, maintenance, or environmental conditions.

  • If inspection confirms a defect, a replacement will be issued at no charge.

  • If the unit is functional, or failure was due to misuse, inadequate maintenance, or environmental conditions, the replacement will be chargeable (unit + shipping).

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Provide original proof of purchase when making a warranty claim

  • Perform routine maintenance as communicated in official Bidet Buddy materials (manuals, guides, inserts, packaging, or customer support communications)

  • Retain and reuse accessories, as only the spray unit itself is covered

Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a claim:

  • Contact Bidet Buddy Customer Care within the Warranty Period
  • Provide proof of purchase and warranty registration (if applicable)
  • Obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) before returning any product
  • Return the product, where required, using the provided instructions
  • Await inspection and determination of coverage

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bidet Buddy shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or performance of the product. The remedies provided under this Limited Warranty are the sole and exclusive remedies available to the customer.
