Add to cart and head to checkout. Nothing special yet — just don't use the express-pay buttons (Shop Pay, PayPal, G Pay).

Already saved in Shop Pay? If checkout auto-logs you in, tap the three dots next to your email and choose “Check out as guest.” Truemed only appears for guest checkout (for now — native Shop Pay support is coming soon).

At the Payment step, select “Truemed — Pay with HSA/FSA” and click Pay now. You'll see it listed right alongside credit card and PayPal.

Take the 60-second health survey. Age, sex, your HSA/FSA administrator (WEX, Optum, HealthEquity…), and any relevant conditions. An independent licensed clinician reviews it.

Using your HSA/FSA, without the homework

What the survey asks

Age, sex, who administers your HSA/FSA (WEX, Optum, HealthEquity, etc.), and whether you have relevant conditions — things like hemorrhoids, IBS, postpartum recovery, or mobility limitations. It takes about a minute, and Truemed's clinician issues a Letter of Medical Necessity when appropriate.

While your order is pending

Your order sits safely in our system while the clinician reviews — typically 30 minutes to 2 hours, and 99%+ of surveys are approved. You'll get an email the moment it clears. Order by 10 AM ET and approval usually lands in time for same-day shipping.

Split payments & reimbursement

Not enough in your health account? Split between your HSA/FSA card and a regular card. Already paid out-of-pocket? You can also complete the survey after purchase and submit to your administrator for reimbursement.

What are HSA and FSA funds?

Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts hold pre-tax money set aside for qualified health expenses. Using them means you're spending dollars that were never taxed — that's where the average ~30% savings comes from (your exact savings depend on your tax bracket).

Do I qualify?

That's what the 60-second survey determines. An independent licensed clinician reviews your answers and, when appropriate, issues a Letter of Medical Necessity. The vast majority of customers who complete the survey are approved.

Which products are eligible?

Our portable bidets and their bottle adapters. Travel cases are not eligible, which means Traveler's Kits and bundle sets (they include a case) can't go through Truemed. The eligible-product pages show a Truemed banner right under the add-to-cart button.

Are the Traveler's Kits eligible?

No — kits include a travel case, and cases aren't qualified health items. If you want both: buy the bidet (and adapter) with your HSA/FSA through Truemed, then grab the case in a regular order. You'll still come out ahead.

Can I use my FSA card directly?

Yes — after the quick survey and approval, your HSA/FSA card is charged directly. You can also split payment or pay out-of-pocket and submit for reimbursement through your plan administrator.

What if I have questions about my account?

Does my FSA deadline apply?

Most FSA funds expire December 31 — they're use-it-or-lose-it. If you've got a balance, spending it on qualified health products before year-end beats forfeiting it.
